With 2009 gone by, Malayalam industry has had a mixed bag. Though some of the stars did achieve success, Megastar Mammootty seems to be way ahead of the rest. Even he had failures like Ee Pattanathil Bhootham, Love in Singapore this year but his movies like "Palery Manickyam", "Pazhassi Raja" and others were more than just winners. On other hand movies like "Kutty Shranku" brought in international appreciation for the star. The year 2009 was definitely a great year for the Megastar.
