It looks like Jayaram will be the only hero who will have an Onam release with Kana Kanmani ! Due to Ramzan Noyambu period coinciding with Onam, biggies have all moved date to September 18. The highlight of the film produced by Ann Media in association with Moserbaer Entertainment, is that the Veruthe Oru Bhariya team of Jayaram, script writer K.Girish Kumar and director Akku Akbar are coming together after the super hit. However Gopika is the only person missing from the original team and she has been replaced by Padmapriya. The film is said to be another sentimental family story with lots of comedy and has music by Shyam Dharman. Kana Kanmani will also be Mammootty’s new production and distribution concern Play House’s first release on the auspicious Thiru Onam day (September 2).
