An elephant brought to the location of `Ravanan' directed by Maniratnam at Athirapally near Chalakudy turned violent and killed mahout on Wednesday evening. The incident happened around 5 p.m at Charpa when the mayhout was leading the elephant back after two days shoot. The mahout Andavan, 51, died on the spot.
