After completing 'Chattambi Naadu' and some portions of 'Vande Matharam', Mammotty reached the location of Shaji Kailas' film `Drona'. Mamootty arrived the shoot site at Ottapaalam Varikkaaseri Mana along with his wife Sulu. A.K. Sajan has penned the screenplay. The story tells about a demigod character Pattazhi Madhavan Namboothiri. Anandan, Aadi Kesavan and Nandu were desciples of Pattazhi Madavan Namboothiri, who was a teacher of an Engineering college. He too knows about the potential power of ritual acts of body, speech, and mind connected to Tantra and special poojas. They have come to Nelloor mana to perform a pooja to rescue his student Anandan who was enchanted by Maniyangode Gupthan . This Nellur mana is located in Chambara village. This village was under the rule of Maniyagode Gupthan. After the arrival of Madhavan Namboothiri in Chembara, there the atmosphere becomes tense with magical influence. Mamootty dons the role of Madhavan Namboothiri and Bal, Vijaya Kumar and Irshad as his students. Navya Nair appears as Mamootty's wife and Thilakan as Gupthan. Kaithapram has wrote the lyrics and Deepak Dev has scored the music. Kaniha, Navya Nair and Swetha Vijay are the heroines. They are supported by Manoj K .Jayan, Sai Kumar, Suraj, Kollam Thulasi, T.P Madhavan, K.P.A.C Lalitha and others. Ekaambaram is wielding the camera. Under the banner of Aroma Movie International, M.Mani is producing this film.
