The scheduled release of 'Pazhassi Raja' has been postponed again. It was scheduled to release on October 2. The new release date is October 9. The producer of the film Gokulam Gopalan and Exhibitors Federation president P.V Basheer pleaded the High court to allow them to raise the ticket rate to 50 percent from the releasing date for two months. They pointed that the film production cost was high (around 26 crores) and it has a historical and educational value. If the rate is not increased it would be difficult for them to get back the production cost. Justice P.N. Raveendran has directed the Local self government secretary to give a report. In the Hindi version of the film Sharukh Khan narrates the story of 'Pazhassi Raja'. In Malayalam Mohan Lal was narrated. In Tamil Kamal Haassan has done it. The film will get released all over India in 560 centres on October 9. The film will be released in 125 centres across Kerala.
