The film was originally slated for release on October 2, but was pushed as Deepavali release.Superstar Mohanlal and Antony Perumbavoor of Maxlab has gone ahead and confirmed October 15 as the release date to theatres in Kerala. There is a good buzz about the Jayasurya directed film, and it is said to have an universal message. One of the songs in the film tuned by National award winning music director Ouseapachan, sung by Hariharan and Franco and picturised on Mohanlal and Santhanoo, in Pondicherry has already become hit on television.
