Mammootty will be doing the lead role in 'Pramaani', the next film by scenarist-turned-director B. Unnikrishnan, who had earlier made 'Smart City', 'Madambi' and 'I.G'. This is the first time that Mammootty is working in a film directed by Unnikrishnan.
'Pramaani' will be produced by B.C. Joshi, the producer of 'Madambi', under the banner of Surya Cinema. The film, which will also be scripted by Unnikrishnan, will also have Jagathy Sreekumar,Suraaj Venjaramoodu, Salim Kumar and Nedumudi Venu in key roles. It's likely to start rolling early next year, and will be finished in one schedule, with plans to get it released in March.
