Vikram’s" Kanthaswamy "postponed to August 21

Vikram’s Susi Ganeshan directed Kanthaswamy has once again been postponed, sending shockwaves across the trade.

The film had earlier been confirmed for release on Independence Day, but has now been pushed by a week!

Says an apologetic producer Kalaipuli.S.Dhanu: “What can I do, the post-production work is yet to be completed, mainly the special effects which is taking time. I want the film to have top class quality effects, so waiting for a week more to give the film the perfection it truly deserves”.

Though the trade is a bit cut up with the delay, they can do little about it. Added Dhanu: “Let me confirm the new date as August 21, which is 200 percent certain as by then we would have finished all the work and censored the film.

The film is sure to take a gargantuan opening worldwide as it is going to release in nearly 1000 screens.”
